SVI Angels Information U10 Softball (2009 and 2010 birth years) Player Opportunity!

The SVI Angels are a District wide "all-star" team that represents SVI at the 27th annual Canada Day Classic U10 Championships that are held in Burnaby June 28-July 1st 2019. Year after year this tournament is regarded as one of BC's best! This is an opportunity for U10 players to participate in a fun filled tournament against the top U10 players in BC.

Bill Hawkins and Deron Freer will be coaching the 2019 SVI Angels - both are currently coaching the U10 Tier 1 team at the Carnarvon Ball Club. Contact Bill at billhawkins@shaw.ca for more information or questions. Two additional coaches will be added through the tryout process.

Tryouts:

Tuesday May 14 at Carnarvon's Fireman's Park 6 pm to 8 pm

Thursday May 16 at View Royal's Helmcken Centennial Park 6 pm to 8 pm

Saturday May 18 at Carnarvon's Fireman's Park 3 pm to 5 pm

Accommodations:

Hotel reservations (7 minutes from the Park) have been made for players/families and details will be released to selected players/families. Players/families are also free to arrange their own accommodations.

Costs:

Families are responsible for accommodation, meals, ferry's etc. There will also be a per player fee to offset the tournament registration fee (approximately $40 per player).

Practices

The team will likely hold two practices following the SVI U10 Districts that will be held on June 21 through 23 at Sooke. More information regarding the practices will be communicated during the tryout process.

Players who would like to tryout should register at billhawkins@shaw.ca and include player's name, Home Association and birth year.
