Last week on June 25th the Carnarvon Red Hot Demogorgons U14C Softball team played an exhibition game against the Beacon Hill Softball All Star Majors team at Fireman's Park as Beacon Hill gets ready to take on Layritz in their District tournament in August. It was a close game but the Demogorgons came back for a walk off 11-10 victory after 5 innings. Since this was the first time a Beacon Hill team has visited Fireman's Park since it was a Little League Park back in 2006 the Demogorgons donned the old Oak Bay Little League Jerseys that we found in the score shack during spring cleaning. It was great to see the girls from the neighbourhood from both clubs come together for this game, here are some photos of the retro jerseys!
